At the Peak for Peak Season

My name is Rebecca Frostad, and I am a 36-year-old married mother of one precocious 2-year-old. I just immigrated to Canada, where my husband is from, and we have settled in the expansive prairies. I have been teaching with Qkids for a year and a half, and it has been an exciting and growing experience. Hopefully, you find my blog posts entertaining, uplifting, and useful! Usually, this is the setup for an analogy all about a come-from-behind victory made possible by someone hitting it out of the park. And yeah, that’s a great analogy (which is why it’s probably where you thought I was going with this), but let’s flip the script. In this story, we are members of the outfield— the team that is already doing well going into this big stretch. There’s a lot of pressure to perform our best, but it is more of a team effort.
